11:13a - Hooray for 3 Day Weekends!
Yay today I woke up and drove my fucked up car to the insurance place to get an appraisal for the damage. I followed my mom there cuz it was really far away. After we got the appraisal, we drove to the place where I would be getting my car fixed and they said they would probably have it done by Thurs. of next week! (the 29th!) wow! Luckily insurance is covering all of the damage and we are only paying the deductible. I also broke the button on my gear shift and had a scratch on my car from before the accident and they said they'd give us estimates on that (but we would be paying for it by ourselves). Yay! my poor baby car i hope it'll be okay!
today i'm hoping my sister Monica will come over (we talked about the accident and our Proms on the phone today) so I'm sure she'll be able to spend the night or something. ^.^\/ fuck my paper on Hamlet!
grrr... so here i am wasting time and downloading music, etc. ((i've gotten CD burner happy cuz i've bought all of these pretty CD-Rs)) monica probably won't be over until tonight and until then i can work on my paper and clean house.
i got a nice surprise yesterday - mike called me ^.^ he said he wasn't sure if he was going to go to that cooking school or not so we talked it out and i told him that if he didn't at least give it a chance then he would be left wondering if would have ever have worked out. he says that i always keep him going and that if it wasn't for me, he would've never have gone to college. wow! i'm glad i've had such a positive impact on him and i know he'll be happy at his culinary arts school. he's already looking at getting a car, a cell phone and an apartment by the end of summer! XD i hope it works out!
